Treats can be used to entice good spirits
Have a bowl of snacks for passers-by if your office or cubicle is in a high-traffic area. Even if you don’t have a sweet tooth, your neighbours will appreciate this tiny gesture, and it’s a great way to start a conversation.
Shut the door if you’ve been buried
Not everyone has the time or desire to take part in holiday celebrations. If this is the case, close the door to your office and inform everyone that they are walking through a social cemetery.
Respect the dead
If you know someone is engrossed in a project, don’t barge in and disrupt only to flaunt your clown nose or a T-shirt that says, “This is my Halloween costume.” Of course, if you have no option but to visit the cemetery, you can make the experience more bearable by bringing snacks with you.

Just make sure your outfit is appropriate for the workplace. That means no rude, or violent content. Also, make sure your outfit isn’t too cumbersome so that it interferes with your employment or the work of others. It would be awkward to accidentally knock stuff over while walking around the office. Finally, make it as comfortable as possible. Masks may become irritating after a few hours (or even minutes), whereas most people would like a little makeup. Furthermore, having enormous spider legs protruding from your back would make it impossible to sit down—perhaps this is why Spider-Man chose to wear the symbol on his chest.
